It was Saturday evening and I was restless. Jerry and I thought that a ride in the mountains would be nice. It had been a hot day but was cooling some so we decided to take the convertible. We were having a nice relaxing drive and it was great to have some time to talk. We have only owned the car a few days having bought it at a police drug auction. Jerry was still learning about the controls and both of us are geeks about radios. Turning on the radio was a big mistake. This convertible was pimped out with speakers from front to back and the volume was loud. We were so flustered by the words and the volume, we were unable to turn it down, off or change the station. We both vowed not to ride in the convertible again if we wanted music.
